Centuries ago, there wa

s a very powerful beverage that was discovered in China. Throughout the years, it has been considered as the healthiest brew because it is natural and has a lot of benefits for people no matter what their age is. It is called tea. (break here for a more dramatic pause)

Today in the modern world, many people enjoy drinking tea since it not only brings good nutrients to the body, but it also helps get rid of the toxins and harmful substances that can give people ailments or diseases.

If you are wanting to start a new business to “help people”, there’s no better way than spreading the goodness of this healthy brew than by starting your own tea business

As cool as it may sound, here are some tips to run a successful tea business:

1. Find a reliable tea supplier. This is the first thing that you should think about as this will become your main source of stocks. Get to know them well and come to agreeable conditions with them. You may have the options of ordering bulk teas or you can even ask them for help in making your own unique or signature blend whether it’s iced or hot.

Following are the questions you need to ask to your potential suppliers:

a. How often does their tea turn around? – Of course, a fresh tea is always the best.

b. Do they have a minimum order? – If your suppliers do have one, it will make it hard for you

to try new teas.

c. Do they provide support in any form especially in learning about the products? – Very often, suppliers know only one thing – sending you the invoices for the tea. Some gives you cheap or heavier discounted price because they want your business, while tea is not their core focus, nor do they care about it.

Some may know a lot but they are too guarded about their own profits and keep their information for themselves.

2. Knowing your products very well. Don’t just sell tea to your custom

ers. Drink them yourself because YOUR first-hand experience is going to come through when you talk about the products, making it more convincing of its goodness.

Once they are convinced, they will keep coming back for your tea, as well as your personal service.

96% of the new businesses fail within their first 5 years. Not everyone is cut out to sell tea, as it needs  passion and that relentness learning spirit, as there is a new tea come out everyday somewhere in the world.

If you think you have what it takes to spread the goodness of tea as a form of a business, get in touch with tea experts in Empiro (www.empiroteas.com.au.au) at and find out more on how you can spread the goodness of this healthy brew in your area.
